It's called Trendout Hydrate and it's a bottle specially designed for runners, whether amateurs or high-level athletes. Among other advantages, the bottle is flexible, lightweight, and prevents the water from sloshing around, which can be extremely frustrating when running long distances.

This and other gadgets, of varying technological nature, can truly increase motivation and athletic performance, believes Romeu Cristóvão, the young designer from Leiria who founded the Portuguese brand Trendout Enjoy Life, which, in addition to this innovative bottle, offers other technical products tailored to the needs of athletes.

The Leiria newspaper showcases some of these gadgets, which can be used for simple runs around the house as well as tough Ironman races.

To run more and better

"The Trendout Hydrate is a flexible bottle that was developed with trail runners in mind," explains Romeu Cristóvão. "It adapts to the hand during a run, but it also has a size and shape that allows it to be carried in a backpack and used in the gym," continues the young designer.

Designed with a type of silicone, the bottle has a suction valve that prevents air from entering, which keeps the water from sloshing around and bothering the athlete during the race, the entrepreneur points out.

The attributes of this article have convinced not only high-level athletes but also amateurs, explains Romeu Cristóvão.
