Last Friday, October 28th, an open lecture was held in the amphitheater of ESTM - Escola Superior de Turismo e Tecnologia do Mar - IPL, with Romeu Cristóvão, founder of Trendout Enjoy Life | Eco Spotwax, on the theme "Entrepreneurship in Sports and Leisure," aimed at 3rd-year undergraduate students in the tourism field.

An Event Management organization – 3rd Year – Innovation and Entrepreneurship course, coordinated by Professor Michael Schon.

"What does a graduate in Design and Multimedia do now? Eight years after working for several multinational companies in Porto (where he worked with specific software for healthcare), for one of the largest media groups in the country (where he managed some websites), and for various advertising agencies, Romeu Cristóvão, 33, invented the magic formula for Eco Spotwax, an ecological wax for surfboards. Instead of paraffin, a petroleum derivative, he uses beeswax, resins extracted from pine trees, and an herb—that's the real secret to its success. It took eight months of home experiments in Leiria, based on trial and error, until he found the right recipe with these natural components."
